Beautiful rainbow and I miss the red winged black bird song from the marsh...they are not here on the islands. Nice skies!

Red Winged Blackbird song is my all time favorite! We have had a lot of rain this season. Not good for the golfers.

Great shot of the redwing blackbird. I've tried to get one or two snaps of the ones around our house and haven't come anywhere close to the great picture you got.

The golf ball disappeared behind the trees in a flash of rainbow colours.

Such a beautiful rainbow!

Do you think that bird posed just for you? It certainly looks like he did.

Is there a handsome golfer at the end of the rainbow? Or a pot of golf balls?

Louise: I bet he waited around

HRG & SMT: thanks

Carol: this was my first that looks good

Carolyn: I didn't realize they were only an eastern bird. the skies were blue for weeks - until the Open!

Lorac: we've been sheltered from the rain down in our corner until this week

Gaelyn: rainbows almost make enduring the downpour worthwhile

Hildred & Charles: thank you

Sally: I have taken many blurry shots, or ones where he turns suddenly so that you can't see the colours

chrome3d: maybe - more likely in a puddle after last yesterday (7 hour delay from the rain!)

MB: a favourite of mine too, thanks

L Idiot: I'd like to think he was singing for me, but not likely

Tammie: thanks, they do make you pause which is always good

Lynn: then I'm really glad you stopped by to see it

Irene: yes, there are a few handsome ones...
